"You’re like 8 Wheels Away from skating right now bro" — a comeback I've often contemplated when faced with comments about rollerblading being strange or unconventional compared to other action sports. Delving deeper into the human form and the various vehicles used in the action sports community, I've always thought that rollerblading is the most natural and closest to our regular physical form. With no need for a board, pedals, or handlebars; skates are simply 8 wheels attached to our feet, serving as a personal extension of our bodies, making each and every skater unique in appearance and movement.
 
Combining my passions for skating and street photography, I embarked on a photo series throughout the streets of Brisbane. The concept was to capture individuals across the city and showcase them wearing skates, illustrating just how accessible skating could be for anyone. It was a hella fun project that allowed me to combine my love for both art forms, and I couldn't be more thrilled to feature one of these photos on a shirt. I hope y’all enjoy the vibes!
